One Door Opens Productions - is a new production company. The filmmaker Regina Eaton is a respected advocate and policy wonk that has worked in a number of public policy arenas including but not limited to criminal justice and drug policy reform; fair education funding for low income communities; and the expansion of voting rights. The filmmaker chose the name of the production company because she was inspired by the quote "When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us."
